Chinese computer manufacturer Chuwi introduced a new Corebox mini-PC model with a more powerful Intel Core i5 processor.
Corebox 5th-gen mini PC retains most of the characteristics of its predecessor, except for the improved processor. The device has an aluminum magnesium alloy and polycarbonate body with dimensions of 173 x 158 x 73 mm.
The new mini PC received an Intel Core i5-13500H chip with 12 cores and 16 threads, a maximum clock frequency of 4.7 GHz and an L3 cache memory of 18 MB. It should be noted that this processor was originally designed for laptops.
Chuwi Corebox 5th-gen has 512 GB of M.2 2280 PCIe SSD memory, 16 GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM, 4 USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, DisplayPort ports, HDMI 2.0, Thunderbolt 4 and 3.5 mm connector.
The mini PC can be connected to three 4K displays simultaneously using HDMI, DisplayPort and USB Type-C interfaces. The fifth generation Chuwi CoreBox comes with a 65W power supply and a wireless card that supports WiFi 6 connectivity.
The Chuwi Corebox 5th-gen mini PC uses a low-pressure radiator and a quad heatpipe design. The price has not yet been announced.
