0The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.
Alfred Chicken is an interesting name for a game that is completely uninteresting. NEX-.... well, surely there must be something we can talk about. It's a platformer. You can't jump on enemies to hurt them. You have no (apparent) abilities. It's a 'where do I go' game, even RIGHT off the bat. YEP. NEXT!
WWF games are well-known for being... amazing. Yeah... So WWF on the Game Boy must be just fantastic. Let's see - there are 6 wrestlers, there are a total of maybe 3 moves. Nobody has any specific special or finishing moves. There's no music during the gameplay. This game is prototypical for 'how far we've come'. My goodness. Thanks for watching, see you next time!
