(Edit: sorry for low volume on this video - the mic was a bit weird this week. The sound is still there - just turn those speakers up a bit more!)

The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.

Okay, Flippull. I will give you 100 guesses as to what genre this is. Wait a minute.. a PUZZLE game?? *adjusts glasses* For REAL? On the GAME BOY?

I am very bad at puzzle games, and frankly, I don't like them much. So this is another one of those 'I get it (eventually), but, I don't care'. Another 3 minute playthrough. Yiiiike----NEXT!

Here we go - Atomic Punk. Look up the North American box art for this one. It has a Punk-looking kid throwing bombs. Okay, well WHY then is it literally a Bomberman game?

We've done plenty of Bomberman games before on this channel. Bomberman is Bomberman. With -very- few exceptions, that is always the case. For a Game Boy one, this is kinda interesting. I like the shop with the Anime Girl (tm), and I like the fact that you can go to whatever level you want. It's -still- Bomberman, so, it gets monotonous. Seriously, having to find the exit each time? Come on.

That being said, I can pretty easily say this is definitely top 10 in terms of Game Boy games we have done so far. I realize that is not the greatest distinction, but, we haven't been hitting all the All-Time-Classics (tm) yet, have we?

Thanks for watching!
