CiB Game Boy Theater - Kwirk and Miner 2049er (Episode 36)
(Edit: sorry for low volume on this video - the mic was a bit weird this week. The sound is still there - just turn those speakers up a bit more!)
The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.
With a name like Kwirk, it couldn't possible be a puzzle gam-... whaaaaat, a puzzle game? On MY Game Boy?? Old joke is old.
Anywho, this is one of those 'you can push objects but not pull them'. It's cute, the music is not bad, and it has a lot of levels. It's not for me... come to think of it, Wario's Woods and Pokemon Puzzle League are really the only puzzle games I ever had a more than average affinity to. Props to Trev for actually finishing DAT level. I would, and have, given up way faster. NEXT!
Miner 2049er, More like LOLer 2049er. What -is- this game? So this is the 2nd time we played it (because the original video was messing up) and yet we STILL didn't understand what you have to do.
I guessed 'what if you have to break every single platform with your feet?' Guess what --- that is the correct answer. You have to break every single inch of platform with your feet. On every level. Oh my GOD. This is in the running for top 5 most annoying games we have played, and THAT is a feat. Ugh. Thanks for watching!
