CiB Let's Try - An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (SNES)
1An American Tail: Fievel Goes West was released in August 1994 as a SNES exclusive. It was developed by a company called Shimada Kikaku, who only ever developed about a half dozen games -- but one of those games is the excellent Felix the Cat for NES! It was published by Hudson Soft.
They were really striking while the iron was hot here -- the movie was released in November 1991, so of course the game released in August 1994...
Regardless, this is a really solid platformer. I wasn't a huge fan of the sewer level (then again, when are sewer levels ever good?), but overall for the 20 plus minutes playing, I had a really good time. This seems like a game you could actually beat if you played it through a few times and learned the level layouts.
Unfortunately, this is a surprisingly uncommon and expensive game, so you're going to want to play this 'any way you can'. Thanks for watching!
