Ballblazer Champions was released in May 1997, making it a somewhat early PS1 game. It was developed by Factor 5, who also made the Rogue Squadron and Turrican series, which is pretty cool. It was then published by LucasArts, which if you're watching a video this specific, need little introduction.

Ballblazer Champions apparently is an upgrade of the original Ballblazer game, which I suppose also exists. It's a shame that we started out on 2-player mode, because like many other PS1 games we've tried, the 2-player mode is awful.

Switching over to 1-player, it's clear that Ballblazer is a very early, way less fun version of Rocket League --- a genre that definitely shouldn't have existed until at least the PS3 generation. The game itself runs pretty well, and I do appreciate the attention to detail --- it's just a tough game to swallow altogether. Thanks for watching!
