CiB Let's Try - Cyber-Cop (Sega Genesis)
Cyber-Cop (known elsewhere in the world as Corporation), was a PC game (Amiga, Atari ST, MS-DOS) that was eventually ported to the Sega Genesis in 1992.
It was developed by Dimension Creative Designs (working for Core Design) -- I am unfamiliar with the other 8 games they developed, but they were all for PC, and seem fairly complicated -- and published by Virgin Games, which did publish a few solid titles such as Aladdin and Lion King for Genesis, but mostly published forgettable cash-in games.
Cyber-Cop is by no means a cash-in game. Clearly, a lot of thought and work was put into this game, but as we have seen with a lot of Sega Genesis games, these PC ports to Sega Genesis are pretty brutal, especially playing it in current times.
Cyber-Cop is one of those games you absolutely need a manual for, and the copy we have is cartridge only. Everything seems to play pretty well (at least as well as a 1st person game on Sega Genesis can), but without intricate knowledge of the game mechanics, and the want to put the energy into it, this is most likely a pass. Regardless, thanks for watching!
