CiB Let's Try - Future Cop: LAPD (PS1)
Please note: the sound was a little off for this week's recording. We apologize, and the quality will be better again next week!
Future Cop: LAPD was released in 1998 for the PS1, and was developed by EA Redwood Shores, which became Visceral Games, which is best known for the Dead Space series (RIP Visceral Games...), and published by Electronic Arts (EA) when they were still fun.
All things considered, this is a pretty solid game. These PS1 Let's Try videos are always a bit unfair, because we're looking at games from 20+ years ago, for the system that famously revolutionized 3D gameplay, and some genres do age better than others. In general, anything 2D, or slow-moving games such as RPGs tend to age better than, say, 3D action or fighting games.
That being said, Future Cop: LAPD still plays pretty well. You'll have to forgive small-brained us not figuring out the exact object we had to break, but that's definitely a sign of older games: figure it out yourself. This game is definitely worth a try. Thanks for watching!
