CiB Let's Try - Kensei: Sacred Fist (PS1)
2Kensei: Sacred Fist was released on December 11, 1998, as a Playstation 1 exclusive. It was developed and published by Konami, who needs no introduction.
Now this is what I'm talking about! We've had some pretty bad luck with fighting games on these PS1 Let's Tries (especially 3D fighters), so Kensei: Sacred Fist is a breath of fresh air. Keep in mind: we have never played this game before, and had about 25 minutes with it, so by no means would we have time to learn the intricacies of the game -- that being said, we can tell this is a really solid fighting game that definitely did not sell well, as this is the first I've ever heard of it.
That's what happens when you release a game into an already-stacked genre for an already-stacked system's library -- even if the game is good, it can easily slip through the cracks. I'd love to see someone really good play this one -- thanks for watching!
