CiB Let's Try - Shadow Blasters (Sega Genesis)
4Shadow Blasters was released on August 9, 1990 as a Sega Genesis exclusive. It was developed by Sigma Pro-Tech, who only ever developed three games (Zoom! on Genesis, Aerostar on GameBoy were the other two). It was published by Sage's Creation, Inc, which themselves only ever published 7 games.
Shadow Blasters is an early Sega Genesis release, and it shows. The graphics are obviously only a little bit better than the NES at the time (heck, I'm sure some NES games in late 1990 looked better), and despite utilizing the 'Blast Processing' of the Genesis, it plays relatively slow.
That being said, I enjoyed my 10 minutes with Shadow Blasters -- I could definitely see somebody being able to complete this game with a little bit of practice (especially considering the continues you get). As I expected, the Longplay is roughly 30 minutes. Overall, pretty solid experience. Thanks for watching!
