Metal Morph was released for the Super Nintendo in December 1994. It was developed by Origin Systems, who also developed a ton of Ultima and Wing Commander games, and published by FCI Inc, who published many Ultima games, as well as some WCW games, and the infamous Hydlide!

This is one of those games that's pretty tough to nail down. Is it a 'hidden gem'? Not... quite. But it's definitely hidden, and it has some pretty neat ideas. The good: varying types of gameplay, not super difficult right away, cool metal morphing, and decent graphics and sound. The bad: gets monotonous pretty quick, and appears to be one of those 'where the heck do I go' kinda games.

Off the bat, my most hated part is the fact that you always do summersaults when you jump, and it's very hard to jump and shoot straight ahead. I would like to have the option to shoot in all directions when jumping, but not to make it (seemingly) obligatory.

Overall, this is one you definitely should check out to give it a quick play, any way you can. Thanks for watching!
