CiB Let's Try - Nano Breaker (PS2)
Nano Breaker was released on February 15, 2005 as a PS2 exclusive, and was developed and published by Konami, who at this point needs no introduction.
I was always fascinated by this game, even when it first released, and I have to say, I'm fairly impressed! It's not an experience that will change your life, but it is a solid, if unremarkable action game for the PS2 -- and it does have the unique blood-collecting thing going on.
I cannot believe the opening cutscene was that long for a game that couldn't have had -that- high of a budget. Also, we mentioned that Nano Breaker shares some similarities with Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (which released in 2003) -- that may be because Nano Breaker was published by Koji Igarashi, who also worked on Castlevania games for Konami - the more you know!
If you're looking for a fairly unique experience, this game can be found for a reasonable price, which is not something we can say about most obscure PS2 games - thanks for watching!
