We're on to our next rhythm game, and we're going all the way back to the original Rock Band!

In a very short version of a rhythm game history lesson - a company named Harmonix made the first two Guitar Hero games, then the rights to Guitar Hero went to Activision/Neversoft, and they took over from there. At that point, Harmonix created Rock Band.

I'll be honest - Guitar Hero is a great franchise, but Rock Band blows it out of the water -- it's clear that the people at Harmonix had an absolute love for music and rhythm games, and the people at Activision loved... well, money.

We are playing on the original Rock Band engine, which is in our opinion the absolute TOUGHEST engine to hit notes on -- enjoy!
