Poy Poy was released on October 6, 1997 as a Playstation 1 exclusive. It was developed and published by Konami.

Wow, this is a Let's Try case of me being extremely disappointed. First, given the basic nature of the graphics, I thought this was a 1995-era game (not one that came out 9 months after Final Fantasy 7). Second, I thought it was some sort of run-of-the-mill 3D platformer, based on the box art. Instead, I was greeted with an extremely bare-bones multiplayer party game.

What it does-, it does okay. The core gameplay is fine, and I could see it being fun for a sleepover back in 1997, but there is very, very little meat on the bone in Poy Poy. This is the shining example of 'this game is -not worth the price of admission', it just clearly did not sell well at all. Thanks for watching!
