CiB Let's Try - Street Fighter EX2 Plus (PS1)
Street Fighter EX2 was an arcade game originally released in 1998, which was eventually ported to the PS1 as Street Fighter EX2 Plus on May 25, 2000. It was developed by Arika, who made a lot of Street Fighter EX games, as well as Super Dragon Ball Z, and then eventually Tekken 7 and 8. They also collaborated with Nintendo on a lot of retro re-releases. EX2 was published by Capcom.
As always with fighting games, let me state for the record: we are not very good at them, and this is a 'Let's Try', meaning it is literally the first time either of us have ever played this game. We are sorry if this is your favorite game of all-time and we butchered it -- we are fighting game plebs.
That being said, for a 3D fighting game on PS1, this one is pretty darn solid! It runs really well, has a good variety of characters (though some are pretty generic), and even has a bunch of extra modes. This disc will run you a bit more than the standard Street Fighter EX game, so you'll have to figure out if that extra cost is worth it to you -- still, a solid game regardless. Thanks for watching!
