The Simpsons Wrestling was infamously released in 2001 for the PS1. It was developed by Big Ape Productions, which, get this, also developed Herc's Adventure (great game), Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (decent game), Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (good to great game), and MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch (not as bad as this tho).

That's the only games they ever developed. What a crazy resume. Simpsons Wrestling was published by FOX, because of course it was.

I'm gonna level with everyone - while this game certainly isn't good, and certainly looks awful, it's not nearly as bad as people crack it up to be. We've played several worse games on PS1 Let's Tries, and there are definitely worse Simpsons games out there. There's very, very little replay value, and there is no fun to be had, but this isn't quite a 'worst game of all-time' level, which is kinda a bummer. Regardless, thanks for watching!
