"Cinci de Mayo" (Demon) by Pan, Rafer, Kips & more {All Coins} | Geometry Dash 2.11
1,567It's been nearly 18 months since Pan's last megacollab, codeXmas, which was a really cool Christmas themed level. This is also a themed megacollab, but this time the theme is Cinco de Mayo. Throughout the level, there are a lot of fitting colors and art for this Mexican celebration. Everyone involved in the project did a very good job, and you can find the list of creators further down in the description. Besides the quality being pretty consistent throughout, I really like all the different references in this. It's clear that the creators had a lot of fun building this, and I had a lot of fun playing it as well because of that. Recognizing different art made it fun, but the gameplay is quite enjoyable as well. With that in mind, I think this will get an Epic rating, and it will most likely be an Easy Demon. I wouldn't go for the coins if I was you, though. They're all boring, requiring multiple late timings, so I think you'll find the level a lot more enjoyable without them. I don't know if I even have to tell you this. Do people besides me even get coins in 2021?

Silver. 2/4. The coins in this level are decent overall. They're all harder than the normal route, and may require you some searching unless you read this first. There isn't too much to each coin, though, and there isn't anything original to any of them. They're pretty standard coins requiring a collectible to get, with the collectible and/or coin being slightly harder than the normal route.
• 1st coin: Silver. At 0:27, you gotta jump into the gravity portal as early as possible and skip the yellow orb. There's a collectible found by using the yellow pad at the bottom. This unlocks the coin at 0:46, which requires a precise and small jump. The coin is invisible, but the circle outline and "C" is carved into the design, making for a subtle and nice hint. Considering how easy the collectible is to get, and that the coin is only one harder jump, it can't get anything higher than a Silver rating. I do like the carving, though, even though it has been done before.
• 2nd coin: Silver. The second coin is found at 1:17, and it's quite easy to get if you got the collectible for the first coin. That collectible unlocks the turquoise circle indicators here, which show the path to take to get the coin and not die. You can do it without getting the collectible, but it would obviously be annoying as it would be blind. The collectible also unlocks the "white is sus" art at 1:19, which is probably the best part of this coin, although it doesn't really affect the coin itself. This is just a slightly harder route right next to the normal route, which is done quite often, but the path itself is invisible and can be made easier with a collectible. With that, it's pretty easy, and the collectible isn't too hard either. Still, the way it's made makes it good enough for a Silver rating.
• 3rd coin: Silver. At 1:00, you have to skip the second blue orb. This is quite difficult to do, as you have to use the first as late as possible. Skipping the second orb allows you to skip the mini portal, making you stay normal size in the next part. With that, you can reach the collectible at the top at 1:04. You need to jump as late and as high as possible at the top of the slopes to be able to reach it. This unlocks the coin at 1:57, which you can reach by using the green orb very late, and skipping the second purple orb. It's probably the hardest coin of the level to me, but there isn't anything special to it. You have to skip an orb by using another orb late, get a collectible by jumping late, and then use another orb late. With several late timings to it, a Silver rating is fine.
