Civ 5 in 3.5 Mins: Obey the Dene - Civilization V Mod - LP Summary
It's the Dene, from the Colonialist Legacies mod developers! Nothing says fun like Civilization in the snow. The Encampments provide a new use for Tundra tiles and make living in the cold more than tolerable.
The unique bits of this particular Civ are as follows:
Leader: Thanadelthur
Unique Ability: Soul of the Tundra:
Shrines and Temples contain slots for Great Works of Music - if built in the Capital or in a city working Tundra will provide additional Faith when filled. Holy Sites built in Tundra provide +1 Tourism.
Unique Unit: Sacred Drummer:
Ignores terrain penalties. When the Sacred Drummer is born, it triggers a Prophet Dance, causing every city connected to the Capital to gain +25% Great Person Growth and +3 Happiness for 8 turns. Multiple births reset the length of a Prophet Dance.
Unique Improvement: Yellowknife Encampment:
Requires Mining. Gains bonuses based on the "Metals" line of the Tech Tree. Initially producing +1 Food and +1 Faith, after Iron Working, it gains an additional +1 Food and a source of Iron. After Metal Casting, it provides +1 Great Musician Points. Can only be built on Tundra and Metal Based Resources such as Iron, Aluminium, Gold, Silver and Copper. Cannot be built adjacent to each other.
