Clair Obscur (Solo Character, No Attributes, No Lumina) Ep. 1 - Chromatic Lancelier
12I just finished this game and I wasn't ready to be done with it so I started a challenge run. Let's jump right into the rules.
Solo Character: I will only ever use 1 character in battle. The character I use may change from time to time, but i will never use the back up party. (unless the game mechanics force it.)
No attributes: I wont be applying any of the stat attributes gained through level ups. There are other ways to gain stats but this still does a big dent in your critical hit and speed stats.
No Lumina: Lumina are similar to the Magic stones in FF9. or auto-abilities. In this game they're pictos you've used 4 times in battle and can permanently equip with lumina. I will not be using them and will instead rely on the 3 pictos I'm allowed to equip at any given time.
Chromatic Lancelier is actually a bit extreme of a first video in the series, It's optional. However, it occurs before the first official boss, so i wanted to include it. Admittedly, I'm not very good at parrying, you'll see me dodge more often than not. But through practice I hope to get better so you might see it more and more. I used it in this fight as it was like my 10th attempt. Any attack will 1 shot me from this guy.
To start the fight I shoot it's weak spot. A tactic i didn't really use in my first playthrough. From there, it's best to just build up for a 10/10 overload. Energy tints will be my best friend in this playthrough i think.
I'm still working on FF13 videos too. I'm really enjoying it, though views are showing little interest in the challenge. Hopefully this finds you guys better.
