Clair Obscur (Solo Character, No Attributes, No Lumina) Ep. 7 - Hidden Gestrahl Arena Fights 1-3
3Before continuing the story, there's some side stuff we can do. First i turn in the skin to the small Bourgeon. A part of the white nevron side quest. the reward isn't helpful at all. Next we travel to the Hidden Gestrahl Arena. There are 4 mini-boss fights here with some decent rewards.
Matthieu the Colossus has pretty basic attacks. And the Counter attacks do a good chunk of damage. For our trouble we unlock the Last Stand Critical. This has a pretty nice Health and Defense boost, but also gives us 100% critical hit chance when fighting alone. This is great for this challenge.
Bertrand Big hands is a bit tougher. I pretty much only do damage via counterattacks. Which i seem to miss a lot. Another really nice reward for this challenge though., we get an Accelerating Last Stand. A Picto with another decent health boost and a speed boost. This will be handy because we're getting pretty slow compared to the bosses and they're taking multiple turns.
Dominique Giant Feet's attacks were a bit tricky for me to time at first. But we're pretty much exclusively winning with Parries at this point. It's quite a bit stronger than us. The reward for winning though is Protecting Last Stand. Another nice health boost and a defense boost.
Julien Tiny Head is a bit too strong right now. I'll come back later.
