#Playing clash of clans using 3rd party software is against the terms of Supercell, kndly do not make videos of clash of clans using genymotion. Do not seek support from supercell about genymotion, use genymotion at your own risk

#Update: We know that due to an update to genymotion many of you cannot add any android with google apps included.

1) Download the OVA file at http://bit.ly/1hwXeue (Google Drive) (Mirror http://bit.ly/1r70qUQ)
2) Close Genymotion
3) Double click on the OVA file downloaded, open VirtualBox, click on Import.
4) Reopen genymotion

This video is to show how to play Clash of Clans on Mac OSX or Windows using an Android emulator - Genymotion. In fact you can play any android games on Windows & Mac this way!

Note: According to http://www.webupd8.org/2013/11/android-x86-emulator-genymotion-20.html the latest genymotion update removed virtual devices that comes with "with Google Apps" because of licensing issues. So do not update to the latest genymotion yet, if you did do not DELETE your existing downloaded virtual devices!!

Step by Steps

1. Download Genymotion

Register an account with an valid email
https://cloud.genymotion.com/page/customer/login/?next=/#

Then download the genymotion

2. Download virtualbox
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

Start both at the same time

3. Select the virtual device as
"Galaxy Nexus - 4.2.2 - with Google Apps - API 17 - 720x1280

4. Open ur virtual box set ur system memory to 2048 mb and video memory to 128mb

5. Go to Genymotion and select the virtual device and press play and follow the instructions, you may need an google account to complete the set up in order to download Clash of Clans.


For people having problem with No Host-Only Adapter is selected go to
https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/8940

Apparently all you need to do is remove the old extension from virtualbox here's the terminal command

sudo rm -rf /Library/Extensions/VBox*
