Dark Souls is a challenging game from the makers of the ultra-cool Demon's Souls and features many of the same gameplay features like losing your experience (souls) when you die and giving the player the chance to reclaim them. This CGR Dark Souls video review shows gameplay from the Xbox 360 version of Dark Souls published by Ban Dai (also available for PS3) which features HD game play of combat and some of the many features in this deep JRPG action adventure. Deep tactics, intense combat and difficult end bosses provide a brutal challenge and rewarding adventure for those up to the task. Those looking for more of a casual RPG adventure with hack and slash combat or turn based combat sould look elsewhere.
