In this episode of #thedailydoug, I'm listening to Disposable Heroes by Metallica. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that Metallica wears their hearts on their sleeves and writes songs that truly express their emotions. This one is aggressive, pointed, and exceedingly clear, as they cast a damning indictment on war and on the treatment of those drafted and called to serve. I found the song to be highly effective and one of my faves from this band.
