For 'Hard Cutscenes' You kinda have to go case by case with how they work. Some are easier and some harder to get the timing for the skip, tho that can also be depended on visual markers.

But there are some weird and interesting things with some cut scenes:

In the case of spell gain cutscenes: You can skip all. (that is used in the run at least) But only haste and skull actually gives you the spell, so if you skip dispel you softlock.

Also the cut scene just before dispel(corridors with doors closing behind you) can not be skipped normally (it is possible to get an super rare and weird wrong spawn that softlocks you)

But if you get the amplifier before, that cut scene will be skipable for some reason, I have no explanation for why this is the case.

The 2 butler cutscene's after returning to the mansion is 'time'd cutscene and therefor not skipable, sadly.


How easy the load screen cutscene skips are may also be depended on what warpper you use. In this video I use d3d (dgvoodoo2) as it makes the intro skip more consistent(30-50% ratio) for me but in a run I use glide (nGlide) as the game runs the best with it for me, but I only get like a 10%(at best) ratio for intro skip.

Also make sure you got: 'SlowVideoBuffering=True' in settings (should be that by default)
