Clive and Wrench star in this 1990s-style 3D platform game where the goal is "to thwart the evil Dr Daucus, save the world from an army of mutants and eat more than their fair share of carrot cake".
Clive 'N' Wrench, also known as Clive & the Stones of the Ancient Bunnies, harks back to N64 and early Playstation platform games such as Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxster and Banjo-Kazooie. It offers collectables, mini-games, side quests and a time travel plot. The game is currently in alpha and running a Kickstarter.
This video is of the first level called Corsair's Cove. It shows off the simple puzzles, exploring for collectibles and a tricky platforming section that is sure to frustrate!
Corsair's Cove can be played now by using the free download below. It requires an XBox controller to play. The developers say: "there are bugs and glitches galore, we are aware of many of them, but please feel free to let us know of any you find". The final game, built on the Unity engine, is targeted at Windows, Linux and WiiU.
