REVIEW:
Cocoa is back, the Time Machine has landed again, and another great arcade adventure is now ready to be solved! This game is one of the most awaited sequels for for a long time, and the great humor from the first game ("Wasn't Me!", "Oops Sorry!", "Not My Fault!" etc.) is also to find in this game, actually already in the name of the game - "Twenty Four Hour Parsley People" is very similar to the title of the funny movie "Twenty Four Hour Party People", so there was a reason for this game name.

"Cocoa and the Time Machine" (See here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpSnmR1QxDA), the first game in the series, ended with Cocoa having collected enough fuel to return home from the middle ages. But for his next adventure (this one) Cocoa only had fuel to travel 150 years in time. To be able to go any longer Cocoa needs a more powerful drive for the Time Machine, and after some research for people that might be able to help, Cocoa sets the controls for 1899, Colorado Springs, USA where he starts to search for the inventor Nikola Tesla and his Experimental Station to enlist the help of this great inventor.

The game starts here in Episode 1 with Cocoa in the middle of a Meteor Storm, but after avoiding the meteors Cocoa finds Tesla, just to find out that his base has been overrun by shadowy secret agents who are on a mission stealing Tesla’s inventions for their own purposes. The only thing Tesla got with him is the Tesla Device, that is located in a box nearby. He gives this to Cocoa, that is now able to reverse enemy bullets. The device has to be recharged and this can be done at recharging stations, or by getting new batteries when killing enemies. Cocoa now enters the base and has 24 hours to get the stolen inventions back and get the Time Machine powered up. Just like in the first game you have to interact with people, find stuff to them, and recieve other stuff in rewards. You have to figure these puzzles out to open up for new areas and proceed in the game. You will also need to learn to use the on/off switches for the power supply and operate magnets for lifting boxes. There are a lot of tasks in this part but the main objective is to restore the power supply for the main tower, this will make it possible to open the door to the underground of the base which leads to the next level.

Some of the things you need to find is very well hidden in the backgrounds, and you might not see them even though you walk right past them, so it is important to pay attention to the bottom right corner of the screen where you have a checklist of items to find. Here you can see what the items looks like and you can also see if your objective is to meet people.

This is a huge game with 75 screens, and Episode 1 takes place on the surface outside the base and on the ground level inside the base. The game comes in 3 parts / episodes that has to be loaded seperately. You can play whatever part you want, but the first time you play the game it does off course make most sense to start with Episode 1, because the game tells a story.

In Episode 2 Cocoa has now reached the underground level of the base, and here you have to search for blueprints that are placed all around the underground complex. There are 33 blueprints, it is not necessary to find all of them, but you need to collect at least 30. You can take multiple routes and you just have to collect enough to so building a new drive will be possible. Actually you just have to find the exit door and collect the blueprints you find on your way, but this is off course easier said than done and at places some really tricky puzzles has to be solved to move on.
