Continuing on from last chapter, the Liberty is still in repairs but now we have bigger problems. The alien force has entered the base and they brought something that will knock it out and foil our plans.
The objective in this mission is to hold off the enemy for 10 turns or defeat the giant boss that’s there. Here’s a strategy I got for beating it that also guarantees you getting all the gears. Yeah. One of the gears is underground and you’ll need a soldier or two to go in, get it and get out of there. Meanwhile have two units go after each of the artillery turrets. Once you’re in possession, aim for its head. Once you deal enough damage, it’ll expose its weak spot. That’s when you can unleash everything you have and more on this sod. Watch out for when it attacks because it’s very deadly. Not only that beware of enemy forces. Use the artillery to wipe them out so you can have a little breathing room.
If you have your team like I did here, you’ll do fine and win. But though the Liberty’s repaired, we’re still in a rut. That is until we get help from an unlikely source and they want us to come to a strange place. What is it? You’ll have to find out in the next episode.
