Here’s an extra video I have that I think you may find informative. It’s split into two parts.
The first part has my commentary and I provide info on the different boilers you earn and use. This can help you plan things. All boilers are categorized into three classes: Light, Standard and Heavy.
Characters like Henry and Randolph have access to Standard class boilers.
Standard Boiler: Has a Max steam of 11 with recharge rate of 8. Straight forward.
Rocket Pack: Has a Max steam of 12 with recharge rate of 7. Provided 10% boost in offense and defense and improves jumping distance.
Patriot Boiler: Has a Max steam of 10 with recharge rate of 10. Has high recharge rate rate but you suffer a 10% defense drop.
Light class boilers are for characters like The Fox, Dorothy and Tom.
Light Boiler: Has a Max steam of 13 with recharge rate of 7. Straight forward.
Scout Pack: Has a Max steam of 12 with recharge rate of 12. The price is a drop of 10% offense and defense.
Ninja Pack: Has a Max steam of 11 with recharge rate of 9. It gives you a 10% offense boost but you suffer a 10% defense drop. It also adds stealth, helping you evade enemies’ attacks and provides bonus damage to enemy weak points.
Last comes the Heavy class and guys like John, Queequeg, Lion and Califia are part of that class.
Heavy Boiler: Has a Max steam of 10 and recharge rate of 8. Straight forward.
Medi-Pack: Has a Max steam of 9 and recharge rate of 9. Though you suffer a 20% offensive drop, you gain a 20% defense boost. In addition you gain 10% of your max HP at the start of your turn.
Scarab Boiler: Has a Max steam of 14 and recharge rate of 7. It gives you a 20% offense and defense bonus but I recommend you use this carefully.
If you obtained all 96 gears, you obtain the Lincoln Superpack. It has a Max steam of 14 with a recharge rate of 8. You also get a 30% bonus in offense and defense making it the best boiler around.
That’s all there is. Oh and the video ends with a showcase of all the characters’ specials. Let me know which is your favorite in the comments as with it, I’m finished. However the only character I don’t show is A.B.E. because you have to unlock him by getting 100,000 medals. If I ever do unlock him, I may plan an extra showing off A.B.E.
