The Black Sabre is not a top tier weapon. However, it does have some good, base power baked into the weapon. As the Sabre has a very slow striking pattern, it is best to do one or two attacks with a retreat. The stamina shouldn't be an issue for the Revenant as Tirelessness will allow quick recovery of stamina in the worst of situations. The Black Sabre is a strength based weapon which is sort of strange, in my opinion. As this weapon is a late-game pickup with late-game stats, it is only used in fairly beginner sorts of ways. The weapon does not boast any sort of unique or special abilities which cannot be replaced by any other one-handed weapon.
