As the Howling Pit is completely devastated by Crush/Ice/Blood, it seems to be a perfect setup for utilizing one of the most underrated greatswords in the game. The Warped Blade is very useful in the Pit because of the extremely high, built-in value of blood damage. This is very unique in the game to have weapons with blood damage built into the weapon. The weapon boasts the ability to have a 40% increase in damage from the ice and blood values. Therefore, the blade does more damage than listed on the card. This is very unsuspecting to say the least. Also, it provides perfect blocking ability during the combination of Steady Bulwark. It may not look like a weapon of great power, but it makes up for the damage values in other ways. It creates great synergy with a dark gift, defensive, aggressive setup.
