Coin Bounce Match - Super Smash Bros Wii U
5The Coin Bounce Match is finally here! Check out this insane match and the rules for setting up your own coin bounce match in Super Smash Bros on the Wii U! Watch this video as Rosalina and Luma, Dark Pit, Duck Hunt and Bowser Jr. battle it out in a match for coins on Mario Galaxy in SSB.
So what are the rules so you can set up a coin bounce match of your own?
1. Set up a 4 Player Match (and pick awesome characters to play with and against).
2. Change the Rules to Coin and set the time limit to 4 minutes (the optimal time for a coin bounce match).
3. Raise the launch rate from 1.0 to 2.0
4.Turn off all items EXCEPT the POW Block and the Bumper. Leave the items on HIGH. This is a crucial rule for a great coin bounce match, so stick to the rules!
5.Set damage display to OFF. Your going to get bounced off regardless, so damage is not too important. It also cleans up the screen slightly while adding a small amount of "unknown" to the match when you have no idea what your percentage is. If you are following the rest of the coin bounce rules, then you have no reason to leave the damage display on during the match.
6. When picking the stage, choose a small to medium sized place to fight. A large stage will take a lot of the fun out of a good coin bounce match.
The last and final rule: BOUNCE YOUR OPPONENTS TO THEIR DEATH AND STEAL THEIR COINS!
If you want a small leg up on your opponents in the match, it is slightly helpful to pick someone with a great jump. Kirby, Duck Hunt, Pit and Fox are a few characters who would have a tiny advantage in a Super Smash Bros Coin Bounce.
