Coin Puzzle Solutions - Fitting up to 20 Coins into a Square
Coin fit puzzles are where you have x number of coins and have to fit them into a small area such as a square. At first it may seem impossible, but there is a solution, and it’s usually just the one unique arrangement (accounting for reflection and rotation, although there are some exceptions), and it’s your task in such puzzles to find that solution. If you put all thought of coins aside, this can just as much be a packing problem – for example how many tins of beans can you fit in a cardboard box, looking down at them from above. This is one of two videos I have made on the same subject – the other one being for the version where all coins have to fit in a circle of specific diameter instead of a square.
