This is Cold Case, JBeretta's (Previously created Zygo) entry into this years Sega Xtreme Saturn Homebrew competition

Recorded from real hardware. Burned to a CD-R and run by using a Pseudo Saturn Cart. Output via an RGB SCART cable, line doubled in an OSSC and recorded with a USB capture device.

Gameplay
Its a Silent Hill style survival horror game. The main character face is very detailed and the environments are fully 3D. Unlike Silent Hill, this one has a much larger draw distance. The enemies are also very detailed. Its still in early stages, but this one is looking really good.

Gameplay
Plays a lot like silent hill. You investigate areas to find evidence which you use to traverse to the next area to investigate. The beginning has real Silent Hill 4: the room vibes, and I love it. Theres only 3 areas in this demo, but its fun. The combat is still a bit basic, but functional, and you can switch between a behind the character view and a fixed, more cinematic view. Its generally better in the cinematic view, the behind the character view introduces some views of areas that probably shouldn't be visible, but its nice having the choice.

Sound
Eerie and creepy, exactly the way it should be. The enemy noises are freaky, the ambiance fits the mood and it makes me want to see more. Gun noises are a bit weak, but not problematically so.

Overall
I really want to see this grow into a bigger game. Really fun and interesting idea with a very nice graphics engine.
