Narwhal-class SSN is tasked with sinking the Oscar class SSGN and escorts, if any. And immediately identified a Victor SSN. With a shallow layer, attack options are limited, but the sierras are prosecuted successfully.

The Soviet strategy is simple: Victor is the "bush-beater", trying to get me to shoot it while Soviet airborne assets can drop torpedoes on me. Unfortunately for them, I anticipated their tactic and used the MOSS decoy successfully to peel off any torpedoes, and sank the Victor pretty quickly. The problem is getting close enough to the Oscar, as it can go 28 knots (compared to Narwhal's flank speed of 25 knots). But if I go deep enough, I can wait until it slow down, and two torpedoes up its baffles delayed its reaction time.
