27Start by gathering resources from the 3 piles away from the main one, this will give you some resources until they send Gattling Tanks in, at which point you should swap to your main pile.
You need defensive structures quickly.
I prefer a spread of Lasers, but you could try playing a bit more compact and loading Firebases with Missile Defenders.
Expanding to the east is a goal worth fighting for once you can back it up, the northwest is another place to expand to as there's a Reinforcement Bay, some more Supplies, and a Repair Depot.
The base isn't hard to assault, as he's focused more on attack.
Try and kill the garrisoned troops in the Bunkers though, it will make it a lot easier, although Avengers will help again for the US factions in stopping some of the missiles.
