An interesting level to say the least, and one you could complete the bulk of before building a base.

This is generally considered not to be the linear option, and is the harder of the two choices in my opinion.

Stay along the south side of the map and head west to some Tiberium fields.
You want to try and capture one of the Stealth Tanks with your Mutant Hijacker, so you can scout the area.
Sending a unit other than the Stealth Tank near the Laser fencing will trigger a Harpy, and you don't want that. I prefer to leave the base untouched, but I know it's possible to take out at least the War Factory and Construction Yard (though they don't seem to replace lost structures much, if at all anyway.

When your reinforcements arrive head north and deploy your MCV. Use some SAMs to the NW and get working on a couple of Carryalls, one for your Mammoth Mk.II and one for an Engineer laden APC.
Capture their base and start eating away at them.
I prefer to capture their Construction Yard, and get out a Cyborg Commando (as you can't rebuild the Mammoth Mk.II.

Use a combination of your super unit(s) Artillery and Titans to destroy their base.
