0Vorticon VI, it turns out, kind of branches off in all directions, with plenty of completely optional levels and no real indication of what's what until going in to explore. And the dangers are more dangerous than ever. Let's try to be a bit more careful this time, shall we?
Being as only episode 1 of the Vorticon Invasion trilogy was shareware, I'm less familiar with the next two games. As I recall, this one includes a secret level, a hidden key to the Standard Galactic Alphabet (probably in the secret level), and a friendly marine cryptid (which I think gives access to the secret level). There's also a proper final boss, not to mention a mountain level where (whether accidentally or by design) the apparently intended route is outright impossible. And that's about all I remember.
