0Seems like we've cleared out the military installation island, and are now getting into something more civilian. Which I'm hoping means things will go more smoothly. Just three more stages on this continent, then the evil mountain of doom, the secret level, and the boss stage.
Last stream wrapped up with Hal's Kitchen, which features massive amounts of food, relatively little danger (other than a blind drop onto spikes at the end!), and several questionable level design decisions that make significant parts of the stage inaccessible and once again cause me to suspect that the designers kept forgetting (or worse, were never told) that Keen can't fit through one-tile-high gaps.
Being as only episode 1 of the Vorticon Invasion trilogy was shareware, I'm less familiar with the next two games. As I recall, this one includes a secret level, a hidden key to the Standard Galactic Alphabet (probably in the secret level), and a friendly marine cryptid (which I think gives access to the secret level). There's also a proper final boss, not to mention a mountain level where (whether accidentally or by design) the apparently intended route is outright impossible. And that's about all I remember.
