0It's the weird one! The game that doesn't really have anything to do with the overarching plot, that uses what appears to be an early version of the second trilogy's engine, where the enemies are all hostile vegetables, and Commander Keen is in his pajamas? Yeah. It's like a filler episode where everything's made up and the continuity doesn't matter.
From what I've heard, it was intended to have digitized music as well as (finally!) digitized sound, but for shareware-related reasons, the management insisted that the whole game needed to fit on a single floppy disk, so that got cut. "You've Got to Eat Your Vegetables", believed to be meant for the title screen, was later reused as background music in Keen 4, most notably in the dopefish level. There's a version out there with lyrics, though! Somewhere.
