In this video, Commando, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by Elite.
A classic arcade game, where you command a crack commando named Joe in a long and tiring mission to destroy the enemy bases with only a repeater rifle and a bunch of granades. The view is from over-head and the screen moves vertically, making the action fast and addictive. Elite faithfully converted the game for the ST; the graphics are identical albeit the playing area is smaller; the audio is very close to the original, the scrolling is smooth and the playability is therefore identical to the arcade machine.
