One of my favorite games on the Atari 2600 now converted to the Commodore 64. The game is endless but I show upto where I think the game doesnt get any more difficult and eventually lose all remaining lives. you can choose to start on any level between 1 and 16 but i think after crossing level 20 there isnt much more to show.
The objective is simple. Run left - right avoiding obstacles and chase down the krook. You can use the stairs or the lift. The lift will help avoid obstacles but may cost you time if its going the wrong way. If you get ahead of the krook, he will turn and try to go the oposite way but you may yet still be able to outsmart him.
Overall I think this is a good conversion. as well as higher resolution gfx, it adds nice backgrounds and some music. I do prefer the soundeffects of the Atari 2600 version though. Just something about that Atari sound ;). The gameplay is fully intact and works as you would expect although it feels like forever waiting for the lifts to be where you want it.
