Now this was a full 30AUD release. Eventually re-released by Zeppelin Games as a budget. Interestingly Firebird re-released ZG as budget much more often than this way round.

I remember having a friendly argument with a kid in school. He told me that IO was/is actually a moon of planet Jupiter and that is where the game is taking place. Now, all these years later, and although he was correct about the moon, the game actually stands for Into Oblivion. I need to find him and punch him on the arm for fooling me! :D

I remember this game as a very capable shooter. Would be up there with Armalyte and Salamander on the C64. Often overlooked and a must play if your a fan of the genre.
