This is a map I've wanted to beat for a very long time I never thought I would have the skill for it. I'm so glad it's behind me now. Shoutout to stx-Vile, I learned the infight strategy from his World Record speedrun of this map, it saves a ton of ammo.

What I really love about The Mucus Flow is how its music works so well with the map to create this sense of desperation. The song has a very serious tone and this growing rumble in the background adds so much to the intensity, I can never play the map without my heart pounding and my nerves going crazy. It's incredibly stressful in the best way, and it was designed to be like that. It forces you out of your comfort zone and makes you cherish every bullet and health pick-up you find. Truly a one-of-a-kind map, and very influential in the Doom community.
