Ah, yes. Water levels. Everybody's favourite sections in any video game...

Water levels have a notorious reputation in video games, as annoying slogs that turn any game they feature in into a cumbersome chore.

The Water Temple in the original N64 version of Ocarina of Time is legendary... for it's tedium and frustration! And who can forget Labyrinth Zone, which was intentionally designed to bring the monument of the fastest hedgehog alive to a crawl. And lets not even get started on Atlantica in Kingdom Hearts...

How do you feel about aquatically themed levels? Have they frustrated you as much as they have others? Or maybe you even think that their negative reputation is unwarranted, and they deserved to be redeemed..
