Comparing Switch Classics and Retron5 versions - FZero and Super Mario Brothers World
We have access to both a Retron 5 with emulations loaded on there along with the official cartridges and the re-uploaded versions available on the Switch, and have found a weird tick to the Retron's version. So we decide to compare them.
F-Zero takes place in the year 2560, where multi-billionaires with lethargic lifestyles created a new form of entertainment based on the Formula One races called "F-Zero". The player can choose between one of four characters in the game, each with their respective hovercar. The player then can race against computer-controlled characters in fifteen tracks divided into three leagues.
Super Mario World is a 1990 side-scrolling platform game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The story follows Mario's quest to save Princess Toadstool and Dinosaur Land from the series antagonist Bowser and his minions, the Koopalings
Crimix has played F-Zero plenty before and both Wolfie and Crimix have played Super Mario Bros World. And can recognize that something has gone a little off kilter with the Retron.
