Being expected to justify our hobby is something every tabletop gamer has faced at one point or another, whilst not entirely a fair position to be forced into, and whilst some of the answers might feel obvious I wanted to look into the question more. In this new series I am going to be comparing tabletop games rather unfairly against other hobbies with connections, some obvious some not so much, in this first edition Im stretching out to the world of trading card games, a scene that shares a lot of the same people and often has this conversation trying to one up eachother.
