In The Outer Worlds you discover a recipe for something called Concentrated Distillate and today I'm making it- It is STRONG stuff.

I'm thoroughly enjoying The Outer World's, it's a great game, top shelf. Love it. But that's not much of a surprise, it's made by Obsidian Studios and I've been a huge fan of their work since the 1990's way back when they were making Fallout 1 and 2 (actually, they were just the team an Interplay back then that was making Fallout 1 and 2, but they spun off and became their own company in the wake of the collapse of Interplay).
The Outer Worlds places you as a recently awakened cryo-sleeper on the far flung backwater colony of Halcyon where corporate oversight rules all, "employees" are legally mandated serfs, and "The Unemployed" are more or less pariah's shot on sight. It's a bouncy high gloss dystopian nightmare and it's a ton of fun for me. You should check it out.

You discover the recipe for Concentrated Distillate on the wall of one of Auntie Cleo's laboratories and its awfully similar to fairly standard "Apple Pie Moonshine", which is not a bad thing. In fact, it's delicious.

Concentrated Distillate
16 oz. -or- 474 ml. Apple Juice
16 oz. -or- 474 ml. Apple Cider
4 Cinnamon Sticks
1/6 cup -or- 28g. Granulated Sugar
1/6 cup -or- 28g. Light Brown Sugar
Heat to Simmer
3.25 oz. -or- 95 ml. Everclear
4.25 oz. -or- 125 ml. Whipped Cream Vodka
Divide into Jars with Cinnamon Sticks
Enjoy carefully!
