This person thinks that Concord, the game that got pulled off stores, is better than Starfield, a game that is still being sold at the stores despite how middling it is.
"Lots of incredibly talented people just lost their jobs." Not our fault, bro. Are you going to blame it on us?
"A bunch of lame dorks couldn't get over characters with pronouns and iffy, boring designs." Yes. It's still not our fault. I'm sorry that people don't like what you like and decide to save their money on something else instead.
This person wants games to be "publicly funded." The last game that I know that was publicly funded was Ubisoft's Skull and Bones by the Singaporean government. That's where your tax money goes, people.
Here's the funniest part. "Actively incentivizing people to play these games" by giving "real-life rewards from the government." In other words, bribery. They are bribing you into playing this game.
My brother said that this is similar to how free-to-play games reward players with daily logins bonus. That wouldn't be far off.
