This person made a ridiculously dumb statement that got ratioed to oblivion. The context is about child prodigies and how they are wasting their years learning advanced lessons at their age. I can relate somewhat, but what was the take that got ratioed again?

"Let's say your kids read many years above grade level, as mine do and always have." Okay. And then what?

"That just means they'll be running out of books to read faster than everyone else." Uhm, what do you mean running out of books? That's literally impossible. There are 11K books being published every day on average. I don't think these prodigies are going to "run out" of them anytime soon.

I think what he's trying to say is that these "prodigies" will run out of knowledge to learn but that implies that we human beings will stop learning because we already learned enough. Humans are very curious creatures. They're going to learn whatever they think is interesting to them even if it's pointless, and they're going to write it somewhere, in books or the 2 million articles published daily on the internet.
