Conquest of Elysium 3 (Witch) Part 1
19Here is an indie title I just picked up yesterday. It is a turned based strategy game set in a fantasy setting. You have a choice of seventeen different factions with their own unique abilities (though some have similarities). I went with a Witch on a large map. Witches have very little options for recruiting units and start with nothing but their citadel. But, Witches are one of the few factions in the game that can take over Ancient Forests, Swamps, Faerie Glades, and even regular Forests/Jungles. This provides your faction with fungus (shrooms) which are used in summonings and upgrading your witches.
Majority of the summoned units usually have some method of poisoning along with immunity to poison and swampwalking. But there are a large variety of abilities that make them a rather versatile force.
I will say that next time I do this, I'm going with a small map. Its cool to explore but dealing with the roaming animals can get very annoying over time.
